The second annual Girl Powered Flagship Event at Texas Instruments is right around the corner!

The Girl Powered team looks forward to welcoming Dallas-area students (grades 2 – 12) from 10am – 2pm on October 20th. In honor of the International Day of the Girl, this event is intended to get young girls interested in the fun of STEM fields and the world of robotics! We will kick off the day with a series of hands-on activities, during lunch there will be an inspirational keynote, Q&A and then more activities and giveaways.

The Girl Powered Flagship event is just one of 100 workshops that will take place around the world this October. Girl Powered is an initiative to redefine the face of STEM by creating a more inclusive environment for all students within the robotics community. Together, with the support of the entire team, we strive to encourage equal participation of young women and men in competitive robotics.

The event is free and open to all and we welcome you to come and celebrate with us. To register, please visit www.robotevents.com. To volunteer, please email gp@vex.com or gp@roboticseducation.org.
